Working Scientifically Coverage CPD

This CPD package trains teachers in how to use the PLAN working scientifically resources to review their coverage of the working scientifically statements in the National Curriculum in England for their phase (Key Stage 1, Lower Key Stage 2 and Upper Key Stage 2) and, where further coverage is required, identify working scientifically activities to include in future planning to achieve that.
 
It is designed to be delivered by schools to their own teachers, so it includes all the resources required as well as step-by-step instructions for delivery. It can be delivered as one 90-minute session, but may work better for some schools delivered as two one-hour sessions. The delivery instructions have been written so that the CPD can be delivered either mid-academic year or at the end of the year.
